Green Y® Validation Engineer CertificationA Green Y Validation Engineer is recognized for using accelerated test methods to ensure product reliability. Testing for both known and unknown failure modes prior to product launch helps the Validation Engineer significantly reduce reliability-related field failures. Service Monitoring further assures that if a failure mode is missed during validation, at least you will know about it and can react before the customer experiences field failures. Submission Requirements:Shainin certification emphasizes the demonstration of developed skills rather than the accumulation of knowledge. The Green Y Validation Engineer must lead two successful Risk ReduXion (validation) projects. The projects must be reviewed and submitted as they are completed. Submitting two projects at one time will not be accepted, as it does not allow for appropriate technical development. The projects must be completed using the FUNCTIONAL™ template in a concise technical report presenting the strategy, evidence, reasoning, and lessons learned that resulted in successful project completion in accordance with certification standards. Time Limit:A candidate has 24 months from certification as a Green Y Journeyman to submit their two projects. |
