Shainin Certification: Business Process Problem Solving and Prevention Path

Need to solve business process problems?

Need to prevent problems from occurring within
your business processes?

The solution is TransaXional™ certification.

Your business processes are often complex, convoluted, and interrelated with other business processes, over which you have no control. Understanding these interrelationships, let alone finding the true root cause of the problem, may appear to be an impossible task. How can you solve or prevent problems within your complex business processes when you do not have tangible parts or manufacturing equipment that you can touch or see?

In response to pull-signals from our clients, we have developed the TransaXional Problem Solving and Prevention methodology. Within the TransaXional certification program, we have applied the sound and proven Shainin problem solving and prevention principles to the seemingly intangible "information” or “data” of business processes, and have developed additional breakthrough strategies and techniques to enable you to solve your most difficult and complex problems efficiently. These strategies, tools, and techniques are available nowhere else in the world.

The TransaXional Problem Solving and Prevention methodology has been applied successfully in some of the following business processes and areas: Production Material Control, Logistics, Finance, Purchasing, Engineering systems, Service Operations, Personnel, Manufacturing Operations, Prototype Vehicle operations, and Information Technology.

TransaXional certification provides strategies and tools for problem solving. An existing business process can be likened to a building. We all know that a building with a crumbling foundation will not remain standing, and before it ultimately comes crashing down, evidence of the true cause of the structural instability manifests itself. It is evidenced by doors that no longer fit, windows, that bind, floors that are no longer level, and cracks in the walls. “Patches” may cover up some of these manifestations, and provide some false comfort that the problem has been resolved, but until the true root cause of that crumbling foundation block is discovered and addressed, the building will not be “sound.” Years and money may be wasted until the true root cause, the crumbling foundation block, is found and corrected. We can draw a parallel to a business process. In the TransaXional Analysis phase, the true root cause, (the crumbling foundation block) at the lowest system level (the building’s foundation) within your business process (building) will be efficiently uncovered. In the Optimization phase, corrective actions that have the greatest impact, or ability to reduce risk, will be developed and implemented.

TransaXional certification also provides strategies and tools for problem prevention. Your building (business process) may not even be designed, but how do you know that it will meet your needs? Perhaps the building (your business process) has already been constructed (designed by IT), but how can you be certain that everything works and you got exactly what you asked for and paid for? The TransaXional methodology provides the tools and strategies to efficiently design a new business process, while also anticipating and eliminating potential failures. For an existing business process design, it enables you to identify and correct any business process weaknesses or risks.

Business professionals and Information Technology professionals who work within or are responsible for a business process, or those who develop, and install IT systems may obtain TransaXional certification. Those with limited responsibilities may undertake certification as a TransaXional Analyst or Journeyman. Those with broader responsibilities or those who serve as core resources to a Business Process problem solving program may wish to pursue Master certification.
