TransaXional® Journeyman

A TransaXional Journeyman is skilled at assessing and ranking relative risks, and documenting business process improvements. A Journeyman has also learned how to statistically confirm corrective action effectiveness, and has been exposed to driving effective corrective action implementation with linkage to management metrics. A Journeyman has been recognized for demonstrating the ability to:

  • Competently lead all Analyst activities - Analysis and Optimization phases of STRUCTURAL™.
  • Assess relative risk and impact of focused activity options - Analysis phase of STRUCTURAL
  • Document the function and structure of an improved business process - Optimization Phase of STRUCTURAL

The TransaXional Journeyman will have additional tools beyond the Analyst and be able to set strategy for himself / herself.

Prerequisites:

Attend TransaXional Problem Solving and Prevention - Analysis workshop.

Course Requirements:

Attend TransaXional Problem Solving and Prevention – Optimization workshop.

Skill Requirements:

  • TransaXional Journeyman candidates must receive certification as a TransaXional Analyst.
  • Complete a second analysis project, with approved coaching, to the STRUCTURAL standards. (A valid analysis project must demonstrate implementation of a corrective action with demonstrated significant impact.) Candidate must be a team leader for at least one Analysis project. Use of a FEMCA® must be demonstrated in at least one project. At least one project must include an optimization responsibility matrix and optimization function model.

Endorsement:

To attain TransaXional Journeyman certification, a Shainin consultant must endorse the candidate through an interview. The consultant will assess the candidate’s proficiency in the following areas:

  • Ability to perform all Analyst requirements of the Analysis and Optimization phases of STRUCTURAL. An additional project may be required if this skill is not demonstrated.
  • Ability to assess the relative risk through the use of a TransaXional FEMCA.

Time Limit:

Journeyman candidates have 24 months from the time they attend the TransaXional Problem Solving and Prevention - Analysis workshop to submit at least one project with implemented corrective actions, and a second project where, at least, a review of the responsibility matrix was held with Management. At least one project must include a TransaXional FEMCA.
