TransaXional® Master Certification
A TransaXional Master is skilled in the TransaXional Problem Solving and Prevention methodology. This skill extends to coaching candidates, the application of statistical confirming testing, driving effective corrective action implementation with linkage to management metrics, and assisting management in the generation of an impact matrix for effective project selection. A Master has been recognized as having the ability to:
- Select and conduct appropriate statistical confirmation testing -
Optimization phase of STRUCTURAL™
- Define and link incremental improvements to management metrics and drive efficient implementation of multiple / simultaneous corrective actions - Optimization phase of STRUCTURAL
- Assist management in the generation of an impact matrix to select high-impact projects based upon multiple management metrics - Optimization phase of STRUCTURAL
The TransaXional Master will be able to serve as a core resource within a program.
Prerequisites:
Attend TransaXional Problem Solving and Prevention – Optimization workshop.
Course Requirements:
Attend TransaXional Master class (1 day) or workshop.
Skill Requirements:
- TransaXional Journeyman candidates must receive the certification as a TransaXional Journeyman.
- Complete a total of five sufficiently diverse projects, with approved coaching, to the STRUCTURAL standards. Three projects must demonstrate the implementation of corrective actions. Two must be complete through the analysis responsibility matrix review with management. Candidate must be a team leader for at least three of the projects. Use of a linkage matrix must be demonstrated in at least one project. Use of statistical testing must be demonstrated in at least one project, or be submitted as a toolbox requirement.
- Coach two individuals through TransaXional Journeyman certification. Coaching may not begin before the completion of the third project, completion of the Journeyman interview, and approval from the Shainin coach.
Course Description:
Within the STRUCTURAL approach, the class/workshop will introduce the TransaXional impact matrix, coaching, communication, and other “soft “ skills.
Who Should Attend?
This course is designed for “core” resources - the business process owners and those responsible for business process IT improvements.
Endorsement:
To attain TransaXional Journeyman certification, a Shainin consultant must endorse the candidate through an interview. The consultant will assess the candidate’s proficiency in the following areas:
- Ability to perform all requirements of the Analysis and Optimization phases of STRUCTURAL.
- Ability to set strategy for problem solving and prevention applications.
- Proficiency in setting up and assisting with the generation of the project selection impact matrix.
Time Limit:
Master candidates have 24 months from the completion of their third project to attend the TransaXional Master class or workshop and develop two candidates through the Journeyman level.
