Classes and Workshops

Shainin^® classes and workshops are taught using a series of case studies and examples taken from different industries. Each has been chosen to illustrate the broad scope in which Shainin^® strategies and tools can be applied. The strategy used to solve these cases is the key focus of the training. Tools are also taught to enable the student to execute the strategy developed.

Shainin^® Development Philosophy

Shainin development path combines classroom training with hands on application. Developing skills requires a progression through four phases. You start out being unconsciously incompetent (you don’t know what it is you don’t know). When you become exposed to new skills but can’t yet perform them, you have become consciously incompetent. With proper practice and effective coaching you will become consciously competent. This means that with concentration and focus, you can perform a skill correctly. With extensive practice and coaching you might reach a point where the skill has become second nature. You are now unconsciously competent.

Shainin classes add to the student’s knowledge. Students are introduced to new concepts, strategies for solving problems quickly and new tools for executing those strategies. Concepts, strategies and tools are introduced using case studies that the students can relate to their own circumstances. However, the skill development takes place while applying this knowledge to client specific projects.

Shainin License Agreement

We require anyone who attends a Shainin class, symposium, or presentation to sign a license agreement.

This agreement protects both the clients and Shainin’s proprietary information revealed and grants permission for each attendee to use the information in his or her company.
