The Red X® Strategies for Problem Solving class focuses on learning in small groups through highly interactive exercises and workshops. The class teaches the Shainin Red X® problem solving methodologies and the FACTUALâ„¢ problem solving process. Students will learn the fundamental Red X® problem solving strategies to address Feature, Property, Defect, and Malfunction Event problems.

Objectives:

This course is designed to enable participants to quickly and efficiently:

  • Validate measurement systems applying Isoplot®, Stage 0, and Sensory Scoring Transform.
  • Solve a delta M measurement system problem.
  • Develop a Feature and Property strategies.
  • Apply Multi-Vari and scatter plots to Feature and Property problems.
  • Develop Defect strategies.
  • Apply concentration diagrams to Defect problems.
  • Develop Malfunction Event strategies.
  • Apply Component Search, Paired Comparisons, and group Comparison to Malfunction Events.
