Delphi Wins Fifth Straight Shainin Bottom Line Award

Pontiac, MI – Delphi won its fifth straight Bottom Line Award, presented annually by Shainin, a consulting firm specializing in manufacturing execution. The award was accepted by Dave Krausch, global director of customer service. Shainin works with Delphi to avoid and reduce costs through proprietary investigative strategies. The awards were presented Wednesday, April 26 at the Centerpoint Marriott.

Delphi management has embraced a Shainin-exclusive “Rolling Top 5®” strategy, whereby the top five manufacturing execution challenges are systematically identified, addressed and eliminated, before the next set of critical issues is dealt with.”

“For our company, ‘Rolling Top 5’ is becoming part of the fabric of the way we know we need to do things to accomplish aggressive goals in costs savings in our manufacturing and engineering processes,” said Krausch. “It keeps us focused on our biggest challenges, which are really our biggest opportunities to increase quality and drive costs down.”
